I am 66 years of age and experience and I am seeing something I have never seen before in my 66 years. The American people, it seems, have finally reached a tipping point and Obama and his supporters are largely responsible.

The Liberal Bubble and the Sleeping Giant
There is a major weakness in the Liberal movement in the United States. That weakness is the bubble they create around themselves and their organizations. In many cases it is not just a bubble but an elaborately created and ruthlessly maintained force shield, ala a Star Trek space vehicle.
There are many examples if you care to look that demonstrate the existence of this bubble. One Example is Kerry’s loss to Bush. Liberals all over the U.S. were amazed that Kerry had lost. Statements like, “How could bush have won? I don’t know anyone who voted for him.” were everywhere on the news. More recently it has been Obama’s health care reform bill. In spite of polls showing the majority of Americans oppose this bill, Liberals continue to marginalize and deride those opposing the bill and are unable to comprehend why anyone would oppose the bill.
What is happening today is that Liberals are being forced outside their comfort zone. That is, they are being forced involuntarily to realize there is a world that exists outside the bubble they have created for themselves. In a way it is similar to those who screamed bloody murder when it was discovered the earth orbited the sun instead of the other way around. The earth as the center of the universe can be compared very closely to the Liberal ideology that Liberalism is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. When challenged their whole belief system begins to crumble and they react like a wounded beast, lashing out indiscriminately and in many instances to their own detriment.
Liberals have made the situation even worse by their recent activities. They want to preserve the bubble they have created at almost any cost but have made the mistake of using long sharp sticks to prod the giant outside their bubble. They have not only awakened the sleeping giant of the American People, they have been foolish enough to keep prodding the giant with lies, distortions and name calling in attempts to marginalize their opposition and preserve the bubble.
Another example of the Liberal bubble is the constant flip flop of statements made by leaders on the Liberal side of the political spectrum. You would think Liberals would realize that in this day and age, video and audio records exist for almost everything they do or say. They are constantly being caught in lies, misinformation and damaging history about themselves and those associated with their machine on a daily basis. They were able to get away with this in the past but with the internet, fact checking sites and information archives this is no longer possible. They have been so comfortable inside their bubble for so long that they still believe they are never wrong and should not have to answer to anyone but their fellow bubble dwelling Liberals even when they are caught in blatant distortions.
The latest attempt to keep their bubble from deflating is the obvious and ridiculous tactic of packing town hall meetings with paid or bused in activists that support their side of the argument. They have realized that it is impossible to keep the bubble intact when news media are forced to grudgingly show the opposition to their agenda. Their reaction is to try to pump the bubble back up with phony and contrived “love Fest” town halls. From their standpoint this is a must because if the blinders are torn off their supporters and they are exposed to influences from outside the bubble, their house of cards collapses.
Their conduct reminds me of a comedy song that was around awhile back. Bill Engvall’s recording pointed out that some people need a sign around their neck saying “stupid”. (Here’s your Sign) Ignorance can be combated with knowledge. Stupidity reigns when ignorance or falsehoods are accepted or condoned. If in the face of overwhelming information that you are wrong and then you continue down the same path, it can only be assumed that stupidity or purposeful and blatant dishonesty is the cause.
When people stand up in town hall meetings and quote exact wording from bills with references to line and page and then some Liberal states that is not in the bill, someone should pass him or her a stupid sign. Maybe someone should go into the business of mass producing “STUPID” signs inside a graphic of a busted bubble. It seems that in the near future there is going to be a huge market for these signs.
